Filmmaking Deep Dive: Lighting 101

In this deep dive, we learn the name and purpose of each light that is used to make Cinema Therapy look cinematic. So, what did we learn today, kids? Jono is mechanically challenged, Alan needs a heat lamp, and ignorance can be solved!

Oh wait…you didn’t say that…dang it.

2023-03-20 21:29:05 +0000 UTCResponding to the first question: No, we don't actually have to change the lighting setup. We turn up the fill light ever so slightly to make it a bit less dramatic. We do change the lenses and positions of the 2 side cameras though. Go from 55mm lenses to 35mm lenses and walk the cameras in a bit.-Alan

2023-03-12 15:44:18 +0000 UTCOh! Also…can you make a video on c stands, grip arms, etc? I have a c stand I just set up so I can do overhead shots BUT the mount on the arm is too big for my clog camera. Guessing I need to measure or research bc I think it’s a standard 5/8”
