We talk about the importance of honoring your child's free will, how much we love Oscar Isaac, and geek out a bit about this sci-fi classic.

My parents were always a bit hippie, so I wasn't baptized (catholic) even though my parents and all my family was. I asked when I was small still and they told me that they wanted to choose for myself if I wanted to join any religion at all. Very grateful since I had my chanve to make up my mind before becoming agnostic. I also pierced my ear by myself since that was also up to me. Both grateful and not so much for that one xD

Thanks to Jono for what you said about drawing boundaries with your parents. I’ve had to do this in the last year and feel lots of guilt from it. But I felt like it was my only option given years of being controlled, my path being set for me and being torn down. It was so helpful to hear that
