That's a Wrap: March 2024

Here's a recap of what we did last month!

We went to Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle! The panel was a blast, and we got to meet so many of you afterward for the meet-and-greet! Our lead editor, Trevor, joined us for some fun excursions around Seattle. A great trip all around.

Cinema Therapy Studios started studio-ing. We put out a call for story submissions and then presented them live to our Supervillains. Then we worked on developing the submissions for the rest of the month to get them ready to pitch to the studio.

We shot more episodes of Cinema Therapy. Even though we had a lot going on leading up to it, the March shoot went pretty smoothly. We laughed, Alan cried. And a suuuuuper exciting guest joined us!

Here's a sneak peek of what's coming next!

April will start with a break. After a very busy few months, we're enjoy Spring Break time with family.

Then, things get super exciting because we're going to Pixar! Yes, Alan is going to crying about Pixar at Pixar. Yes, it will be captured on video. #content 😂

The next shoot is never far away, so the rest of the month will be spent planning the next batch of episodes and then prepping them AKA watching movies for work. We have the coolest jobs!

How was your month? What are you looking forward to next month?

March was pretty good. I had some changes at work that have been hit or miss. I also went to an Art and Soup Charity event in my hometown Utah. It was fantastic I bought and saw some beautiful artwork. It was wonderful! My mom had her birthday in March so I got her something for that

The #content was so much funnier than it should have been 😂 Poor Alan is going to have the camera on his face at all times. Just remember that we adore you whether you cry or not.

march was horrible, my dad passed away and i´m stuck with paperwork up until my neck - so crying with or without Alan and pixar was a good part of this month - i´m happy for all you, who had a great time! Be with your family!

Have an amazing spring break with the kids! You should take your kids to the ST. Louis city museum! Johno Im not sure how far away that is for you and Alan should go no matter the distance because he would have more fun than his kids. I am a flight attendant so spring break is one of the busiest times for me. But I always try to make work fun for my whole crew and passengers even when its exhausting. For April I am tagging along with my husband to a convention for emergency medicine in vegas, Im excited to go to meow wolf again and do some hiking around there.

My month was great. I was crew on a TV pilot based on the Little Nemo comic strip run/video game for a class. And bonus my professor wrote it with his writing partner and directed it. It was so much fun. I can't wait to see the finished project. And since my professor LOVES Steven Spielberg...Like The Last Crusade is what made him want to make movies you can imagine the style is going to be pretty cool. And this week we start another film project also for a class. So when all is said and done I'll have 5 IMDB credits by the time I graduate college which is pretty exciting. I've also done a ton of work on my first ever short film that I'll be making next fall and I am SOOO excited with how it's turning out! Like I can hardly stand it!!

Everything about this post is lovely; I hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break! Side note : It makes me smile knowing that Cinema Therapy went to Emerald City Comic Con, I am from the Pacific NorthWest, Seattle is one of my favorite places to road trip to! I hope you all had a good time! Like another person said, March was mixed bag of ups and downs, I am feeling tentative about April, but May is usually magical so I'll hang in there!

Have a wonderful spring break!!

Enjoy your well-deserved break, internet dads! It’s nice to know you take time for yourselves in between all of the exciting work you have going on. Looking forward to all the cathartic, Pixar-induced tears! ❤️

Also can’t wait for Pixar 😍😍

I need to share this: there was a Spanish singer called Javier from “Los Pecos” that looks exactly like Jonathan. Check one of their videoclips! https://youtu.be/tJBrK2KAPfc?si=jKfUuctr4Z_GFJ0g

March was a mixed bag. Ups and really down downs. April will probably be more of that but I have the Azalea Festival this weekend in Wilmington (lots of film and tv made in that town!).
