Think, "would I say these things to someone else in my same situation? Would I call someone else with the exact same set of circumstances all of these names?" We are always SO much meaner to ourselves, and self kindness is SUPER difficult. I know this medium is weird as none of us actually know you guys personally, but we certainly love all of the authenticity and genuine emotion that you put on display for us every video. Speaking for myself, I would be delighted to have you guys as actual friends. Be kind. To yourself also. ;) But also keep being a big dork because we love that, too! (See? I deflect with humor also, a fact my therapist has had to endure for years!)

I mean, *Alan voice* COME ON! some folks have commented you're too hard on yourself, but I think it's super healthy that you lean into self-depracating humor and that you are comfortable enough with each other to sort of 'force' the other to say nasty stuff about you that you wrote yourself. it's probably some type of niche pseudotherapy. I'm sure the Neurotic Persnickety Counselor will agree ;) I'm so glad this came out today. I needed a good laugh <3
