Hey friends! Alan finally (somehow) finished the 1st draft of the script! 21 pages of pure... mediocrity? Nah, there's a couple solid bits in there.
But we need a whole movie full of solid bits! So Jonathan and Megan are going to go over draft 1 with a fine-tooth comb, and figure out how to solidify the rest of the bits.
We're leaving the bits metaphor now. It got too gross.

2024-06-02 14:54:55 +0000 UTCI also forgot to mention that there might be space for a half-empty/half-full argument over the urn spilling that devolves into hysterical laughter when they realize that they will argue about literally anything then ends with them cry/laughing together. If you find a way to make the urns look like they are smiling or frowning, I feel like that would be hilarious in a bittersweet kind of way.

2024-06-01 02:53:12 +0000 UTCI think what I was trying to say is that it would make sense for her grief to cause her to seem overly flighty/flippant while his causes him to be rigid, and a big source of the conflict is them both needing to recognize that they are both grieving in their own way and that crying is okay. It feels like that is there in spirit, but the acting/dialogue can be sharpened to reflect the complexity of that struggle with letting go while still honoring those we have lost.
