Next episode is one of my favorites. I think you’ll really enjoy it and it’s meta commentary.

2023-11-27 00:50:38 +0000 UTCYeah, for the time being, anyway. Well phrased, even the love/maybe don't; I like that you said aged. By that, I just mean, for example, there is an episode about a certain thing (they haven't watched it yet), also another episode referenced a pandemic, and then just general social issues and stuff. Anyway, I've seen some reactors watching it now, and when these things come up, some say it aged well, but others say something to the effect of how like the show was ahead of it's time. The thing is, no, it wasn't ahead of it's time. Sure, the things that they covered or talked about/commented on with the show, in some cases may have received a more dominant focus in recent mainstream media attention/popular conversation on a broad scale, but it doesn't mean they are new things or something. There are certain things, like an upcoming episode about Thunder Gun which was 'early-ish' as far as talking points about certain things in Hollywood and stuff, but it still existed, I mean, why else would they make it. It wasn't a future prediction, etc, even if times would continue to trend that way. As for most issues covered though: guns, sexism, racism, homophobia, abortion, etc. they are issues that were talking points and relevant that go back to the 1980s when these creators were kids, and before that, for sure, too. tl;dr - hopefully someday some of these things will seem aged, like a resolved issue or largely resolved issue that used to exist in the past, in hindsight.

He was in 4 episodes as part of the "claimers" (Daryl started tagging along with the group of guys who yell "claimed" whenever they saw something they wanted). He was the leader and the one who Rick bit his throat during their fight.

2023-11-24 18:35:48 +0000 UTCOutside the meme it's not as good of an episode though, at least IMO. It's decent, but not great. I think it was a good concept, having the two groups switch sides in their arguments, but I don't think they executed it as well as they could've.
