They want to do right by the story, so they're going to continue working on it, but it won't be the movie that will be made and released this year. Instead, the AI dating short story will be done this year and Ashes to Ashes will be pushed to be a next year release 😊.

As adults trying to balance home and career. As parents just trying to keep our kids from arguing about whatever slight real or imagined that has occurred. What the world usually fails to instill is that compromise isn’t always a good thing. You don’t ever compromise yourself. Your values. Your morals. Your core beliefs. If moving forward now would require too many concessions that compromises the integrity of the thing being created, then it only makes sense to wait for better conditions. In the mean time, we get the opportunity to watch the creation of something that will be amazing. It’s a win-win. We were promised 1 short and we’re getting 2. How is this not awesome?
