Post-CyranØ LEGO Hangout

We've finished CyranØ, and frankly, we're all pretty tired. So we figured we'd celebrate (after the Cast/Crew screening on Thursday) with just a chill hangout session. And what's more chill than building a new LEGO set?

Why, building the Cullen's House LEGO set, of course!

And what's even more chill than that? Having David & Emily from the CT Studios team over to build with me (Alan). Bradley (the editor of CyranØ, and Cinema Therapy's director of photography) might drop in as well for a bit while we build Wolfey-Jake, Spider-Monkey hanging on tight, mustache-Dad, and the wall of framed graduation caps, because, and I can't stress this highly enough:
These books are so stupid they might be accidental masterpieces.

Sadly, Jono can't join us. Because he lives 1,000 miles away, and also, he hates Twilight too much to join us for this, almost religious, experience. But, in good news: This is a weird, experimental livestream/hangout, and all paying Patrons of Cinema Therapy Studios are invited!

But the real question is: what day/time should we do this? We want as many of you as possible to be able to hang out with us!
Find your own craft, or chill project, sit down with us on a nearby screen, and just kinda... veg out for a few hours while we chat, answer questions about making CyranØ, pontificate about life, and most importantly: Relive the greatest teenage vampire/werewolf love triangle romance phenomenon ever set in the Pacific Northwest.

TL;DR - We're going to livestream a chill LEGO build hangout this weekend. When do you want us to do that?

I think you spelled place of horror wrong... 😉

just me

As will we all! It's the quintessential Saturday morning garb as it's customary to indulge in CARTOONS or other chill Saturday morning stuff while eating cereal on the sofa.

I really hope I can join. I have a lot of sewing to do, I want to finish a delicate kaftan in two weeks, because I will be flying to a concert where I want to wear it. But the fabric is not easy to worm with, so I'm losing my mind.

Riiight, I thought in ”the wrong direction” in my head lol

Sara Wagiström

I am in. I love Lego!

Gretchen

if your username is anything to go by, you probably live in europe. So 9am for them is 6pm for you :)

Lyndis Cealin

I have a 9 hour time difference and no Lego in my life. But hey, midnight seems like a perfect time to do some crochet! Will try to join, such a good idea ☺️

This sounds like so much fun!! I will be in charge of ~two dozen eighth graders for a youth girls' retreat all weekend -- Godspeed. 🫡

I was Twilight obsessed, then had a brief (and sad) period of time where I was a bit ashamed of how much I love(d?) it, now am back to loving the it's-so-bad-it's-good-ness of it all!

Lydia Hartzler

I think I will build something along of the little lego things I have here :D great idea :))

Kajani

It’s looking like people like a quiet, chill morning. And (shocker) Saturday seems more like the thing. I will probably appear in sweats, and with SERIOUSLY unkempt hair.

Alan Seawright

I think it’ll go into the rotation of Lego movie-related stuff in the back of the CT set (my basement). We regularly take sets apart, then rebuild and re-arrange them. At least until we get a dedicated CT office. Then Cullen House will have a permanent place of honor somewhere.

Alan Seawright

Oh, very much so!

Alan Seawright

Who gets custody of the build when it's done?

This is a great idea, I love building Lego sets. I might buy a small one just to join you guys!

Please tell me you have a tiny Lego "Mustache Dad" figure too!

MrWishart

I hate Twilight almost as much as Jono, but this is hilarious and I am here for it. 🤣
