This is Ever, illustrator at MinuteEarth. I just wanted to share a short behind-the-scenes story with you.

For our latest video I got to do an animation that required some math, and since I'm a math lover, I really enjoyed figuring it out.

I had a bunch of objects along a straight line and I needed to make a transition so those objects ended up along a circumference. This transition wasn't *really* necessary to communicate any scientific concept, but once my mind starts to think about math and geometry, it's difficult to stop!

So, I went on and did some calculations and wrote an After Effects script that allows me to turn a straight line into a circumference. You can see the animation at minute 1:34 here: https://youtu.be/UakCvl0-tu0?t=1m34s
