Help us Beta-Test a SECRET PROJECT

Hello Minute Earthlings!

If you're a long-time supporter, you may remember an old project called MinuteLabs.io. It was a very new idea at the time that used interactive web technology to create what we called “Labs”. Websites, web apps, simulations, widgets, gadgets, gizmos… whatever you want to call them, MinuteLabs.io had them. They were a way of creating interactive explanations you could explore and play with. If you wondered where they went, well…

We’re bringing them back.

We’ve secretly been working on a new Lab called the Tree of Life Explorer and it’s almost done! This app will let you explore the (phylogenetic) evolutionary tree and, more importantly, see how different species relate to one another. Ever wonder whether you’re more closely related to a lion or a mouse? Well, this app can show you the answer.

What we need are beta-testers (people to pre-test the app before we go live). We know our Patreon patrons are the most wonderfully geeky group of self-selected sciencephiles we could ask for… in other words, the perfect beta-testers.

We’d like to invite you to visit this SECRET link and explore the app before the rest of the world can get their hands on it. Please keep the link to yourself and don’t share it on social media (yet).
