Chronicles of a Scalebound Sage: Wandmaker

Bjorn, Tanisha, Joha, and the Isi were trapped within the walls of Lavi. Ingrid and Loki were desperately searching for the last heir of the Isi house to secure the city and complete Salstar’s Show of Power. However, they failed, and the group was finally able to leave Lavi thanks to the intervention of the First Princess.

Lavi came under the control of the First Princess’s faction, allowing the Isi and Bjorn’s group to mourn their losses. During this time of rest, Bjorn confronted more of his haunted past, including the painful memory of witnessing his mother’s death at the hands of his father. Meanwhile, Tanisha finally confronted her mother, who was soon to become a fallen noble, much like Tanisha herself.

After leaving the Fort City of Lavi, Joha led their small convoy through several villages on their long journey to the kingdom of Mesha. They decided to take an extended stay in the town of Birchgrove. Tanisha joined the local monster hunter group so Bjorn could hunt in the area and stay active while she sold potions in town. Initially, it seemed like a peaceful merchant adventure, but things quickly changed when rumors of skinwalkers proved true.

Bjorn found himself hunted by a group of werewolves who believed him to be a danger to the world. Meanwhile, Tanisha came face-to-face with a skinwalker that tried to take her life and assume her form. Both survived these encounters and discovered that druids were responsible for the presence of the skinwalkers, while Sabec was behind the werewolves.

Tanisha ultimately freed herself from the influence of the Forest Father and discovered the true name of her soul. However, this revelation caused a significant shift in her personality, nearly breaking her under the strain of declaring herself free.
