CHUN-LI (C1) - ONITSUKA TIGER
Added 2020-03-11 15:08:53 +0000 UTCSo, no many people know about this costume. This was a collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger (a famous shoe company based in Japan) and Capcom. It's an exclusive costume. The only way to obtain it was to buy the original shoes at Onitsuka Tiger online store. With the box, the buyer would receive a code card that would allow the users to activate the Onitsuka costume.
And, why this was exclusive? Onitsuka produced only 5000 pairs of shoes, availables world-wide So, if you see in the online someone with this costume... it's like seeing a shooting star, you know? And that means that fighter loves Chun-Li a lot (those shoes was very expensive).
What is the difference between this costume and the nostalgia costume? Basically, the shoes (obviously!), the logos in her chest and the Onitsuka Tiger logo in her legs. Also, this version has the normal clothes and the easter egg clothes (jumpsuit, jacket and top part) activated by default, so you can see all the parts at the same time (in the nostalgia costume, the easter egg version eliminates the top part and activates the jacket).
