Please visit CDC (Centers for Disease Control), WHO (World Health Organization), and your state's covid-19 response site for information on this disease pandemic is. While we are all taking it seriously within our own personal and communal lives, there is no need to lash out. There are medical experts on youtube with coverage (shout out to Doctor Mike, Violin MD). Dianna is a physicist, a leader in the science community, entertainer, and one heck of an improv singer. Do not turn this into something that it isn't. Stay safe, sane, and happy phyzorcing!

In times like these, Sometimes something as simple as putting a smile on somebody's face is the best thing you can do in life. We all need to smile. Even Dianna. This stuff puts smiles on faces. Dianna is a "Wonderful, unique gift" and doesn't just "have a wonderful unique gift" And if we can't smile, it becomes harder for us to do the normal things like put out science content. :) especially when couped up all day. Nothing puts a smile on your face more than making others smile. I'm positive she appreciates your feedback. We're all with you in this fight brother. We all fight in different ways. And there's no wrong way to do this in my humble opinion. Stay safe!

Diana, why are you publishing stuff like this instead of addressing the science of how Covid-19 infects exponentially when people do not take it seriously? The U.S. is doubling infected numbers every three days, and will hit the overall U.S. popuation10% infection mark in mid April, faster than any other country, including Italy. The number of deaths that follow because hospitals become overrun is way beyond shocking. While amusing, you've unintentionally communicated that Covid-19 is not serious enough for you to address it vs. this mildly amusing, post. And Covid-19 isn't worth the time it would take you away from your new hobby of entertaining & cheering up people instead of using the platform of being Physics Girl - you'd rather be an entertainer than a scientist. Enough of this silliness! Along with a large group of stupid adults, your audience is a key population set that is not taking sheltering in place seriously, washing hands constantly & in the right way, no crowds (2 or more people!), only truly essential trips away from home, etc. There is so much you could be doing to educate kids & adults alike about the physics aspects of Covid-19. For example: Exactly how does soap kill a Covid-19 virus? Why isn't there any difference between plain soap and antibacterial soap in killing Covid-19 on your hands? How does a virus “stick” to your hands? What is this airborne cloud that happens when an infected person coughs or sneezes? How does the virus “ride” tiny water droplets when someone infected sneezes or coughs? Why are scientists urging people to stay 6 ft apart minimum from any one else? Why not 2 feet? 10 ft? Why aren’t there any symptoms for 5-6 days to 14 days? There is enough science/physics regarding this virus for you to post videos for the next 3 months. You've taken on the mantle of championing science for young women, teenagers, etc. It is past time for you to tackle Covid-19 directly & show your audience that they now have to choose between saving lives by following the guidelines or becoming active carriers of Covid-19 that will surely infect and then kill people they in turn infect. As a scientist, you know this is not an exaggeration, Diana. I implore PHYSICS GIRL to rise up, engage in battle, use her powers & capabilities to teach, explain, coach your audience to join the side of saving lives in this war. You have a wonderful, unique gift for explaining complex science in ways everyone can understand. Use that talent, Physics Girl! Join the fight!

Your voice has a charming timbre and range and you sing rather well. I wonder if you can figure a way to incorporate science videos with song? Should you start a band, be careful not to strain your voice trying to sing too loud when there are amplified instruments, let the mic do the work, and warm up your neck muscles if you perform regularly. My voice teachers employed schematics of the complex muscle system and larynx to show the student how the vocal cords move, to better understand why the seemingly silly voice exercises helped ... , aside lots of other physic related stuff such as harmonics being shaped by posture of the jaw etc. Probable stuff you already know. It was nice to hear you sing.
