The record trig stuff you were doing is pretty interesting, expanding on that more. doing stuff with pick up machines. Right now I am tasked with turning phone messages into entire tracks, its much easier to build a drum rack from voices than to do melodic stuff for me, I don't know if field recordings is up your alley but really showing how to model sounds is a good one too. And BTW, that first OT video you did was the tits! It puts that machine in a new light.

2018-10-04 21:27:33 +0000 UTCHou about a qick and dirty tutorial for some basic M4L steps - on how to - trun max patches into M4L How to assign control to m4l devices with PUSH2 when they arent mapped automatically - I find I just want to do these simple things and you end up having to dig through a lot of very tech heavy language (and if you arent familiar with the Max nomenclature it can be a real kick in the taint.

2018-10-04 20:39:51 +0000 UTCI’m happy to do OT vids if people are up for it. Anything particular subject? I’m still a noob with it myself but I’ve picked up a few tricks...

2018-09-25 14:44:09 +0000 UTCFair enough. How about granular beat stuff then - like not pads but making beats using automation on granular synthesis - maybe in sampler?

2018-09-25 14:11:30 +0000 UTCOT videos will be in the works. Was thinking this time I need to make some Ableton videos.

2018-09-25 13:18:51 +0000 UTCI would love to see you do a video on using OT effects in creative/unusual ways.. I find the are a bunch I hardly use like comb filter, plate reverb. Don't know if they are so good for total mangling tho. Maybe a video on using effects on samples, resampling them, slicing, and then making crazy interactive breakbeats :D??

2018-09-24 22:56:05 +0000 UTCI’ve been interested in investigating how to work with Polymetric percussion on the fly in Ableton- I’ve been meaning to create a M4L device to adjust clip length/track duration of various clips from the Push2 knobs.
