I’m very sorry but I sold my ocoast and bought a Morphagene.

Ned Rush

any o coast vids would be appreciated this end particularly how to use any cv tools from within live or midi for that matter on how to modulate things within accost or and any other semi modular modular gear in a more musical fashion .please ..

ryan sanders

....oh. how about another thing. this.> some good knob twisting play for live mic/voice stuff?

Ned, I am new here. Your approach, humor and creative adventure are a true inspiration. I am 2 years into using Ableton Live. Recently tooling my set up to be a flexible live performance instrument. I can see using many of the things you present in my set up. Currently working with a variety of free improv players (most acoustic players-flute, sax, piano, trumpet, drums, upright bass.). We are working with conducted scores for improvisation. SO...to my point/ask....anything you could add that helps gear a set up to produce a good variety of expressive sounds on the fly would be great. i.e. jump from glitch to long tone to noise to melody to live mic to ....bla bla bla. you get the idea. I am already working a few sessions that do this very well but would love to build on it. thanks again for all you do with your creative genius !

Yes you will!

Hey Ned! Just saw this post again and had forgotten about the June 21st thing. Now I'm curious again...! Anyway, I wanted to ask if we will see some new sample packs from you here in the future? Granted you've given us a bunch already and I've been having a lot of fun with them.

Hi Ned, thank you for your videos and ableton examples. They are really helpful. I have been fascinated by the way Jlin makes her beats for a while now, but I can't get my head around it yet. Could you explain how she makes the Juke rhythms on her album Dark Matter, for example? That would be awesome.

Anthony Fiumara

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll check out the video. I’ll be honest I’ve never given Amon Tobin as much time as I ought to.

As a new Patron i first want to say how much I'm getting from your existing videos - so much information, inspiration and production enlightenment, huge thanks! while I go through your catalogue of work I really enjoyed the glitch remix video where you take on an Ed Sheeran track. Made me think I'd love to see/hear more about how you might go about creating a remix from start to finish. Otherwise hearing how you might apply your skills to an old school hip hop style would be super interesting. and one more thought just off the top of my head - as a fan of Amon Tobin's records would be keen to see you break-down something like his earliest Brazilian inspired workouts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPTpriTqDi8 but more than anything else, whatever you decide to do, keep up the brilliant work, it's greatly appreciated

I do like designing percussion and I’ve been thinking about doing a video about how to sound like Aphex Twin. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ned Rush

Hi Ned, something on percussive sound design i.e. Milk Man by Aphex. Also approaches to live performance maybe triggering all aspects of a track from 1 drum rack (negating the need to switch to session view) to perform with a launchpad
