Hello Patrons. Thanks as ever for your kind support.

Whilst still trying to work out the formula for this website and whatever it is I'm doing, I thought to play it safe I'd create, perform, shoot, upload and share another drum rack thing whatever. Whilst I'm quite prepared to accept that I maybe haven't moved on from bluesy 90s drum and bass and goofy glitchy clever clogs early to mid noughties IDM, I still trying to push forward exploring new ways to play with sound and musical ideas. I guess it's a fine line between playing the same song in lots of different styles, or playing the same music in lots of different ways (not sure if that makes sense). So anyway, continuing from the last video, I've again tried to explore how to get as much as possible sonically and musically from a single source, in this again, yet again, one drum loop, which I lifted from some vintage breaks torrent buried in my hard drive that some kind person out there decided to chop up. So its a glitchy breakbeat thing, in the drum rack, using different midi effect combos to create musical notes, moderate instances of the same loop region tweaked and stacked to give variations from a single cell, and also trying out granular cloud playbacks to create reverbs. No effects are used. Its all Simpler and Sampler (you'll need a licensed version Sampler to play this and Live 9.6 to be sure) and drum racks, using envelope tails to imply the sense of space without any reverb. Super lightweight should you chose to drop it into your set to jam with. Hope you enjoy and please leave all the comments.

Video jam to come shortly.

Ah ok. That makes sense. I'll see if I can edit the post. Sorry everyone.

The link only gives a download of the .als file instead of the entire folder

Ethan H

I checked the Dropbox link and the sample is in there. Did you download the whole folder?

Ned Rush

Anyone else?

Ned Rush

Hmm... for me it says the sample is missing. The file is only about 250 kb or something.

Henrik Thomasson

It's in there.

Ned Rush

I did collect all and save.

Ned Rush

I don't think it's included... hmmm

Henrik Thomasson

They should be. It's only one drum loop. If not let me know.

Ned Rush

Awesome mate, thanks! Are the samples included?
