This is quite easy to do in Ableton using follow action clip launching.

With the snares stuff I imagine the process is similar to chopping up breaks, but I'm guessing he's using a really bizarre palette of samples. That's more of less what I was getting at.

2016-07-11 14:40:16 +0000 UTCHi Kevin. I'm a big snares fan (although less so in recent years) I know he uses trackers so it's an entirely different approach to Ableton. I've had a few named artists appear in suggestions so I'm considering starting some sort of "Reproduction" series where I reverse engineer artist styles and interpret it in Ableton.

Don't get me wrong, I love it, you're a badman at it, but I'd like to learn some other techniques. Can we maybe take a look at a xanopticon tune or venetian snares, and try to figure out how they make all that racket?
