Thanks heaps, that's a cool bag of glitchy tricks.

2017-08-16 01:54:58 +0000 UTCI'll think about that. For now, watch this. <a href="https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l0yZ7rH1P9c" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l0yZ7rH1P9c</a>

2017-08-14 00:48:54 +0000 UTCYeah thats a cool idea. To clarify what I mean...if you're making a drum rack and you're tuning and chopping up the sounds yourself as well, and it could be from anything...is there any way to not just rely on your ears? Do you have rules in tuning the drum kits and sounds roughly, obvuiously it needs to be in key...any tricks for that? I think could work in combination with Dustin's idea, cause you can just touch on it briefly! I know your a music mogul, but for someone like me with no talent are there any cheat codes ? (or rules to think within while I figure it out yano) :)

2017-07-28 11:27:40 +0000 UTCI'd like to see writing some breaks or segments of a tune using unconventional sound sources (tupperware, contact mic'd material, etc). Maybe call it "spoon man" hahaha, seriously though. Record weird shit into ableton, turn it into weirder shit, take my money.

2017-07-26 21:10:26 +0000 UTCand like you prob do it by ear, and I just have to work it out n learn it and stop plaguarising the essences but if you have any golden rules on lengths and build ups and things that are key...I heard people use the golden ratio n stuff.... You know, just stuff to make it sound RIGHT which go beyond the sounds and the production sometimes yano!

2017-07-26 21:10:13 +0000 UTChmmm I really looking forward to watch your workflow on making a track... So, its still processing atm! But another idea (unless you cover it) is just the tricks and techniques you quickly do to make sure everything is in key and the right pitch and stuff. Now, I like stuff wonky, but if it is totally wrong I wanna see, and maybe work out when to bring it back on track and when to ditch... You did something cool in a Reason rack but it didn't work, so Im guessing it maybe is a myth for you too :P But hey (using an ableton trial...gonna pay for it and a push i fink...)

2017-07-26 21:09:12 +0000 UTCYes, maybe it would be good to explain your work methodology when you create a song from scratch. If there is a methodology or it is only music, beer, exploration and fun

2017-07-20 13:03:41 +0000 UTCPretty tricky to do in Ableton unless you're willing to do some click and dragging with the mouse, live.

2017-07-20 13:00:12 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to write you about this for a few weeks and this is a good opportunity. I'm in a metal band (vocals) and have been dreaming of a way to grab a snippet of live vocals and throw it into a pre-arranged empty sequence. Got any ideas?

2017-07-20 12:40:58 +0000 UTCYou mean, write an entire song?

2017-07-20 10:13:44 +0000 UTCFor changing something about composition, maybe on breakcore or any bass music ... Or on sound design of kick/bass ...
