Hello everyone. I've noticed a few comments pop up on Youtube of people asking how to get that wibbly wobbly warm fuzzy home cassette sound in Ableton, which is mad really cause you can buy them on Amazon for 30 quid. https://www.amazon.co.uk/GPO-Portable-Desktop-Cassette-Recorder/dp/B01DO8MCKK/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=cassette+recorder&qid=1653078885&sprefix=cassette+re%2Caps%2C209&sr=8-3
Anyway I had a go and I'd like to hear what you think before I do a video about it cause I'm so desperate to look cool in front of the kids. It's a mixed bag of aggressive eqing out the highs and lows, adding noise with Erosion, then wobbling the Echo time and Auto Filter with a smoothed out binary LFO, plus an interesting mutating melody idea using Expression Control and midi clip velocity. Cheers.
