How exciting and unexpected it was to receive a notification that I’d suddenly appeared on Jamie Lidell's radar. Considering I’ve been following his work for much much longer than I suspect he’s been following mine, I was beyond chuffed. He’s been so generous with his support over the last year, name dropping me left, right and centre both on his podcast and other peoples. He was also generous enough to induct into the hall of HOWA (unquestionably the best music production and experimental sound design podcast around with guests who are so far out of my league. I mean, Susan Rodgers? WTF). We had some potent bants about being the “content creator”, the prospects of the AI studio assistant, panic inducing dub reggae remixing jams, and possibly my favourite topic of conversation, the authenticity of the laptop performance.
