Squarepusher Beats in Live 11 Suite

Hello everything. Here is Squarepusher Beats in Ableton Live 11 Suite. It's quite possibly one of the most dangerous videos I've ever made. Hope you enjoy. Download attached.

wow this one is so full of interesting ideas ! Such a mind opener to redo the process following your narration ! and i'm very happy with the result, i just didn't really had the same intensity on the reverb feedback thing at the end... maybe i missed something .. souds great though. Now i want to try to process a sequence made in the modular synth the same way... ! Thanks Ned you're awesome !!

WOW thank you so much for this vid ! Impressive skills, loads of fun during the video (I must admit I said out loud "wtf you doing the pitch is not in the bus chain !" in french but something like that..). Anyway that was fantastic !

Erwan Charier

Ah that's fantastic, will check it out.

another great video ! perhaps you could compile all the instruments etc. you've made into one link or index and pin to the top of the patreon ?

Morgan Wright

I do this all the time with a m4l device called Lucky Notes. You can find it for free on ELHPNT's Curated Collection. It gives very interessing results :)

Lars5k

Hooray for the video! Thanks for being a nerd of Squarepusher and showing us the drill n bass techniques within Ableton. You rock!

Haal Electronica

Another great vid. I was wondering with the receiving/ sending MIDI to different tracks, would be it possible to have some sort of chance on the receiving MIDI track? So when incoming MIDI triggers an instrument on another track some notes play and some don't play. (hope that made sense)

This is a bloody winner ! Do it please

Jamie Lidell

Yes! Actually I did once have an idea for an Instagram off shoot where I make smoothies from random ingredients and then drink them and give them a rating. I was going to call it Smoothie Criminal.

Ned Rush

Now I’d be interested in that tbh. Bread rush ?

Jamie Lidell

Ha. If I do then I don’t realise I am. Maybe sometimes I narrate my own cooking.

Ned Rush

Premium content ! The fact you can actually show this process unedited whilst narrating the whole thing is bonkers. Do you narrate the making of your own tracks now ? Not being facetious.

Jamie Lidell

Hi Ned. Do you check your DMs?

Thomas is a major influence for myself. Changed my bass playing and opened the door for electronic music. Ned you fucking rule!!! Great work
