Added 2024-01-28 15:21:12 +0000 UTCHello everyone. Today's download is this interesting oscillator I've made in Max For Live. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right, but its an 8 partial waveform, but each partial is also an oscillator, resulting in mutating harmonics. Anyway the sliders look cool. Hope you enjoy. Download attached.

It’s like a weird trick.

2024-02-13 15:29:30 +0000 UTCVery cool! It might be cool to add mutes and/or solo buttons to each oscillator. Just an idea but probably a lot of work. I haven’t tried getting under the hood of max yet.

2024-01-29 15:17:48 +0000 UTCThat was a quick gen experiment. I like gen. I’ve done some stuff in gen~ but not much normal gen. Happy to do some gen stuff.

2024-01-28 22:34:52 +0000 UTCinteresting how you throw the gen in the mix. Id love a little gen rundown if find a video friendly way to spread the ultra nerd stuff to the smallest segment of the YouTube community :)

2024-01-28 20:16:56 +0000 UTCThis is very nice -- thanks! The DroneLab pack (I think it comes with Ableton suite, or maybe I bought it separately) has this "harmonic generator generator" thing, with 8 separate oscillators that you can detune slightly (for binaural beat stuff), or slide around into various chords, but it doesn't do THIS kind of thing, and sounds completely different. I just love all this slowly-mutating-drone stuff. And what a complete and wonderful contrast from Squarepusher Saturday!
