I’d love to see what esoteric and novel modulation/processing ideas you can come up with using the MPE pads. Every other demo is like “filter cutoff is linked to vertical position on the pad…” Big whoop. I’m sure you can come up with something amazing and unexpected to wow us all!

I just got it and see it more of an idea starter with new ways to capture ideas with the pads/scales etc but to finish a track/arrange would be back on the main computer screen. Curious to see where it would fit in your workflow! Thanks Ned!

2023-05-30 15:51:38 +0000 UTCGlad they sent an Ableton power user a unit! I have a lot of questions around how certain things translate standalone. It seems like there are things that can't be created entirely standalone necessarily but can be accessed, for example I'm a bit unclear on the "Sampler" limitations and M4L limitations. Also curious if I can have access to chains within an instrument/drum rack. I like to keep a lot of samples, patches and breaks on chains in a rack that I select through with a macro knob. Curious about how possible that is and how taxing that would be on the CPU. Lastly, can I load midi files from the user library into clips and conversely save clips into midi files to the user library?
