Album Commentary Podcast/Livestream

Hello everyone. You may remember I mentioned an idea about doing album commentaries only on Patreon. I love a movie commentary, like its an addiction, I'll fall asleep listening to Ridley Scott prattle on about how great he is for making Blade Runner anytime, but this Patreon isn't about movies, its about music, so I thought I'd take the idea into a kind of listening party/commentary on some of my favourite albums, electronic or otherwise, and possibly invite friends and guests to join me. What do you think? Vote now, and leave album suggestions in the comments if you want, or just be surprised. Cheers.

might be a bit mainstream for here, but I'd love some commentary on what i believe is the prodigy's best album - music for the jilted generation

Steven Price

4hero - Parallel Universe would be fun.

Oliver Peter

These aren't albums, these are songs. It would be very short if it was one song ;)

I like the idea. My votes go to the criminally unknown Rolando Simmons, or the late great Microlith. I’d go for World Building or Human touch by Rolando, Dance With Me by Microlith. Or anything by Lanark Artefax if you want interesting. Or Suture by Kavari if you want wild. Or a Mica Levi soundtrack (Monos or Under the Skin). Or II by Meat Puppets if this is a grunge thing. Whatever you do I'd be interested to hear your take on how it might have been made.

Acid Church

Also synthacon 9

Welcome to 90% of my YouTube videos.

No because I’m French and can’t undestand without subtitles. Apart from this little detail, it’s a good idea.

Hey Ned! Voting still not working for me, but I'd love this. Some albums for me would be Leftfield Leftism and The KLF Chill out Album! Also, would love to be a guest and dust off my old podcast voice if you ever fancy it.
