Patreon Rework (pls read for more info)

I'm confirming that I'm reworking the patreon after the next payment cycle.So these changes will be made after May. If you haven't seen the post regarding it read here >>> https://www.patreon.com/posts/64441481

I did change a few things that were talked about in the post though. But the most important thing is that it will be Monthly Charged instead of Per Creation. And new tiers and rewards to go with it. 

Firstly Tiers: 

Most Patreon Creators have their lowest tier be the least appetizing in terms of rewards, and I also fell victim to this. I've read my exit surveys for past patrons and I see quite a few who left my $5 tier just because it didn't really give them an incentive to stay. So, I'm changing that up. With my lowest tier I'm giving people everything. Early Access to Drawings, WIPs, Sketches, Uncensored Versions, a Suggestions Channel on my Discord, being able to Vote on Polls, etc. I'm still deciding on $7 or $8 for the base tier, I'm thinking more towards $8 as a fair price though.

But, what about the tiers above? What do they get out of paying more? It was tough balancing out the price and rewards. But, I've figured that the best mindset for the Patreon would be to have the $7(or $8) base price being the standard price for entry, while every tier above will be treated as just more support. So that's why the rewards for the higher tiers are a little bit underwhelming. But don't discount them yet. 

For the $15 tier you get 15% OFF commissions (don't mind the photo above, I've settled on 15% off commissions). And the beta reader role on discord, which will give you access to a channel where I will post early scripts and storyboards for any future doujinshi. Maybe even story scraps that will never see the light of day (if the story just sucks). 

And I've decided to keep the $30 tier, since I feel like some people would use it. I'm keeping it to a 3 patron limit but if all slots are consistently full I'd be down to raise the limit to 5 patrons instead. And the big reward is getting a Half Body Drawing Request from me every month. On paper seems like a steal, $30 request drawing when my lowest commission price is $60. Kinda weird, Ill see how it goes, if it gets abused or not used enough, I'll probably just delete the tier entirely. We'll just see how it works. Just wait and see. 

Secondly Consistency:

I'm sure you guys know that I'm not the most active creator on Patreon and it might be a little worrying spending 7-30 dollars a month for nothing. But, as I explained in the previous post. the reason why I wasn't very active was because of the way I was giving my rewards. I would stockpile my finished drawings for weeks and release it all at once. Now that I've been doing this for more than 2 years now, I know that that's not the best way to give rewards, especially for consistency's sake. Add on top that I was also working a real job and doing IRL stuff and there were definitely dry spells of content. 

Well, that's gonna change. Because I'm doing art full time now. I'm super grateful that I can start doing this whole drawing thing full time now. So, thank you for helping me grow and I'm happy you're along for the journey. I'm aiming for at least one post per week. Be it a finished drawing, a short comic, a sketch or WIP.  I won't leave you guys hanging.

But, running out of ideas is inevitable, so I encourage all patrons to go onto the discord server and send your suggestions to the suggestions channel. IT'S OPEN RIGHT NOW. It could be a scenario, a conjoinment pair, specific theme, a conjoinment type that doesn't get enough love, literally anything and everything can be suggested. And with these suggestions I'll do a weekly or biweekly poll to see what you guys want drawn. 

And Thirdly WTF ARE DATE SPECIFIC REWARDS?!?

What are they? In short doujinshi. I've found my calling. Nobody really does conjoinment doujin stuff really. And I find it really fun and good practice.

But, why are they called Date Specific Rewards?!? HUGH?!?!? Well, they take a lot more time than a simple drawing. I need to create the story, write the story, draw it out, letter it, tone it, etc etc etc. It took weeks to months to create something like my past doujins. And with Patreon pirates stealing my stuff and uploading them to free archives online, having the doujins sent through DMs instead of freely open to all tiers is the best way to combat that. I hope you guys understand. The time and energy spent to make it is not worth it when someone goes and uploads it for free viewing. 

Don't worry though, if you do miss a month where a doujin is sent then it will be on my Gumroad store on a later date. 

You don't really have to worry about this though. Doujinshi won't be every month or every other month. There is no schedule for it, the main meat of the Patreon are the weekly drawings. The doujins are just sprinkles and ornaments on the cake.

I'm very excited for this change. And weekly uploads will start after the next payment cycle. So... I think I'll start May 8th or around there.
