April illustration Delay

Yeah. This is becoming a bit cliché now, and I’m ashamed of it.

Aprils monthly illustration (this one: https://www.patreon.com/posts/strip-poker-wip-82207377 ) is delayed into May. Instead of the link being re-sent at the 1st of May to anyone who was charged in April, it will be sent later on. At latest, Aprils patrons should receive the illustration within the 7th of May.

Apologies for the delay, I feel guilty I’m still struggling with this issue. It‘s my poor time management and foresight to blame. I failed to foresee that my startup on Twitch & scouting for editors would occupy my time and energy by this much. I’ve changed my Patreon plan over the months to slowly but surely help me avoid the delay issues. I am noticing it’s helping, although I’m still struggling. There has been a lot of changes in my personal life as well. (Discontinuing the art college program was one of them). So I’m again trying to find a good balance between work and other parts of my life. Unfortunately it still seems to be affecting the way my Patreon is supposed to run. 

At the very least, things are looking upward. Next month the way monthly polls and illustration rewards are typically run, changes. I’ll have a full 30 days instead of 15 to complete the monthly illustrations, and I can finish them at the beginning of the month instead of towards the end. I strongly believe it will reduce these delays. I did mention previously that I have plans to expand, which also means (should my plans succeed) that I can expand my Patreon rewards further. I mentioned in my last post ‘sneak peek’, that I could be looking into creating a new tier! I’m positive that things will work out for the better in the end, although it’s a little rough right now.
