PATREON UPDATE (PLEASE READ)

Hey all!

I've been quiet this month, and for that I must apologize. However, I have been working & preparing multiple things behind the scenes. Please take the time to read, as there are some important changes. Paticularly to the $5 tier. I will do my best to remain concise so this post won't be longer than neccesary.

$10 tier

• Links to the DropBox archive is renewed and sent out on the 5th of each month instead o the 2nd.

$5 tier

• Patrons of the $5 tier will now receive rewards through DropBox like the $10 tier. I have made different DropBox archives for the $5, & $10 tier respectively. The $5 tier will be sent a link at the 5th of each month, which then expires on the last day of each month.

• When new rewards are made, I will upload them to the DropBox archive and post a teaser to my Patreon to notify everyone that new rewards are out. I also update the Patreon group chat!

• Those who are part of this tier will always be able to access the link to the DropBox Archive through the "Welcome Notes" section on my Patreon profile. (see the guide above for more details)

Upcoming projects:

• I'm in the progress of building my own website. Gumroad banning NSFW content has been a huge blow to me, and many other artists. I'm hoping that eventually, when I'm able to get this site up and running, I can continue to sell my digital packages there. Along with using it as a gallery to display my portfolio, and other useful means!

• "Hacked Love" is going to be a black-and-white doujinshi styled NSFW comic of approximately ~65-70 pages. I teased it in a previous post (here), and I'm working on refining the first 6-7 pages now, as all the rough drafts of (currently) 69 pages have been completed. My partner who's also an artist is helping me draw this comic, since it's a big project!

• "Ask my OC's Anything" answers are in the works! I have about 3 WIPs of answers to 3 different questions, so don't think I've forgotten about that!!

Some personal words:

Ever since entering 2024, producing art has become more and more difficult. Unfortunately, it feels as if the rope is tightening around me, and the increased hostility against NSFW content + digital art (AI) has stifled a lot of creators (including me). I don't bring this up because I intend to stop making NSFW or art, not at all, but it's made me reconsider how to approach my carreer. I've begun to search after alternative ways to support myself financially, though it's very much increased the personal and financial stress in my life.

I've spooked myself from posting direct NSFW on social media due to the current circumstances. Additionally, many of the other potential revenue streams I could pursue require me to market myself as SFW-ish. Which... makes my creative process very conflicting! And incredibly time consuming, as I am only one person creating the art, managing the content, marketing myself, interacting with others, and balancing a full personal life outside of that. I've attempted at filtering my explicit content for months now. It's exhausting. When I sit down to draw, I often battle the mental notion of "if I invest time into this art, I must be able to multi-purpose it as a Patreon reward, a Social media post, and the art must be interesting to pull peoples attention". I believe that's whats lead to the current art block I'm trudging my way through.

Which is why I am incredibly grateful for the support from you guys, especially when facing harder times. In the end, I just want to draw with ease like I did before 2024 came crashing down. I know I can, I know I'm capable. I know I'll figure this out.
