BIG NEWS!! Switching animation programs!

Hey all of you! ๐Ÿ’–

Hope you're all doing well! I'm doing pretty fantastic! So I have some big news. If you have watched my videos for a long time you know I use MMD and always have. But I thought it might be time to upgrade to something better, but I was worried it might be hard or just inconvenient.

However, I decided to sit down a few days ago learn Blender which I tried about 2 years ago and then forgot about. And it turns out I only needed about 8 hours to figure out the basics this time, and learn to make a scene look good. And I'm already on schedule like usual with the animation! I guess I must have learned to pick up something while animating in MMD for 2000 hours or so ๐Ÿ˜…, I was very intimidated that it was gonna be harder.

Not to mention I can do a lot more in Blender now that was just inconvenient in MMD. To be honest MMD had a lot of certain tricks you needed to know, Blender is a lot more straightforward in my opinion so far. Even big or long scenes doesn't seem to be that much trouble form what I have experimented with and doesn't take that long to render.

Hope you all stay for this change, the quality and smoothness of the videos will increase. As you will see when I post a video teaser in the coming days!

Oh and yea we're doing Marin for this first video! ๐Ÿ’–

I mostly just imported what I wanted and looked up stuff that didn't look right. So usually I just search what I'm looking for on Youtube or try stuff out on my own. There is no channel in particular they were all pretty much different ones for each question I had. Tutorials via text didnt really do much for me because the language is still too foreign to me so visual stuff is way better. Just try to make something simple first, like a pose, then an animation. I probably need a few months for the animations to look as I want it myself as I discover more things

I've wanted to get into blender for awhile with its potential but didnt know where to start. Do you have some video suggestions I can use to learn from?

Looking forward to seeing your new work.
