Burn out! A quick update...

Have you heard of 五月病 (Gogatsubyou)?

In Japan, it is known as 'May disease', where people feel demotivated, have a change of appetite, have increased anxiety and much more...

Gogatsubyou feels real... I have been feeling it this whole month and I hope it ends as soon as May ends.

I really wanted to record some vocals this month, but unfortunately, because I have not been feeling well, my vocals have been sounding terrible, so I end up deleting them. I will try again in June. Sadly, this means that I won't reach the deadline I was hoping to release 'The Trooper' cover, but I will still do it this year.

I was also hit with some huge bills... Everything I have earned from this tour so far has now gone... 

On top of that, the flights for the EU tour were also very expensive. It's the check-in luggage that really destroyed me (sometimes they're more expensive than the flights. Can you believe it? Transporting luggage is more expensive than transporting humans...? What kind of world are we living in?). In total, it has cost me almost £3,000 GBP (that's around $3,717.60 USD).

The point of the EU tour was not to make money, but to find a way to play to our fans that rarely get the chance to see us. 

To end this update positively:

Esprit D'Air needs a team. We are growing faster more than ever. It's really difficult to do almost everything myself. I am not sure what I need, and I am open to suggestions...

As for May disease, I've heard of the similar April blues 😔 I hope this passes for you soon 🙏🏻 If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know 🙏🏻

Robyn and I have both said how we are happy to help 😁 I'm best suited for administration, personal assistant, event planning, as well as the obvious social media moderating stuff 😁 My advice is try listing everything you need to do on a daily/weekly/monthly/tour basis and then put in priority order. Things of less importance you can either delegate out or remove entirely. From there categorise what sort of fields they are - for example managing, administration, bookings and such. With things such as a digital content creator or something like that someone with a strong network helps. In terms of management it depends what you need. Community can be managed by mods/admins (including announcements if you wished). Maybe have someone look after the espritdair.com store - by updating/uploading merch/doing featured merch posts online etc. I have a lot of ideas 😅
