It wasn’t until a certain drow gained an audience with the warlock and met Elowyn that her fate began to change. Seeing her sadness, Sinafay felt something most drow despised: empathy. And of course, she also saw a business opportunity!

Sinafay needed someone like Elowyn to help get her venture off the ground. Putting herself on the line, Sinafay gambled her freedom with the warlock to win Elowyn’s release. Seeing Sinafay as an addicted gambler who lost night after night only strengthened his confidence. But Sinafay held an ace up her sleeve: a deal with a devil, something the warlock didn’t discover until it was too late.

Cheated and humiliated, the warlock is now scouring the world for both Elowyn and his runaway drow slave.
