**THIS IS A MODDING RESOURCE, IT DOES NOTHING ON ITS OWN!**
This mod only adds new custom crafting menus to the Eco Lifestyle fabricator.
There are no new custom fabrications with this mod.
The following external downloads use my "Custom Menus - Fabrication". If you are a creator using these menus and would like your recipes listed please DM with a link and I will add them.
Filthy Fabulous Craftable Patch - by SrslySims
This mod adds a new custom crafting menu to the "Store No More Home Fabricator". This new menu has the following sub categories:
Appliances
Build
Comfort
Decorations
Electronics
Entertainment
Kids
Lights
Miscellaneous
Parts & Materials
Pets
Plumbing
Storage
Surfaces
*Note: If you are a creator and you need another menu other than the above you are welcome to DM me to add it.
By default crafting with ingredients is optional. You will be able to craft with bits/pieces instead of using ingredients, or a mix of both.
If you have the Cottage Living “Simple Living” lot challenge active on your home lot all ingredients on the fabricator will be required. You will be unable to craft the recipe without the ingredients. Just like cooking.
If you were directed here by another mod author or post, that means that you are installing a mod that requires this file to function.
Simply download the .zip and unzip it using your favorite program like WinRAR or 7Zip. This is a script mod, so make sure the script files are no more than 1 folder deep inside your mods folder. Also make sure script mods are enabled in your in game settings.
Be sure to read over the mod page for the recipes you are installing to check for any other requirements.
REQUIRES LOT51 CORE LIBRARY, this mod will not function without it.
In the download you will find the "SrslySims_TestFiles_MenuTest-FabTestRecipe" file, this file can be REMOVED. It is to check to make sure the menus are working correctly in your game. This fake recipe is added to every menu so you can see them without any recipes installed. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY RECIPES INSTALLED THE MENUS WILL NOT SHOW.
This mod has no known incompatibilities.
You can find all ID's for this mod also on the "Fabrication Startcrafting" tab of my SCCO Info Doc.
If you are a creator and wish to use these menus to add your own custom fabrication recipes to the game you will need to follow the following steps.
If you need help, please come by my Discord for assistance. You can #role_yourself as a Creator for access to creator only chat and help sections.
1.This Mod - Do not include in your download. Anyone needing these menus should come here on Patreon or my Website to download.
2. Your Recipes - Any custom recipes you have created for the fabricator.
3. Andrews Crafting Enabler - You can use this mod to inject your recipes into my menus without editing or overriding my menus. Anyone that uses your recipes will also need this installed.
4. CraftingEnabler Test XML - This is an example XML for you to use to inject your recipes using Andrews Crafting Enabler.
Change the <T>135398<!--stove_CookExperimental--></T> to whatever menu you want to inject your recipes to. (You will want to inject into the normal menu + the required ingredient menu. This way your recipe will have optional/required ingredients.
Change the <T>123456789<!--SrslySims:Recipe_Thisisarecipe-Single--></T> to your new recipe.
Be sure to change the name of the snippet tuning SrslySims:Snippet_CraftingEnabler-RECIPEtoExperimental_TEST to something unique, and that Andrews mod is in your mods folder along with the new recipes.
5. If you have all the above items and created your Crafting Enabler snippet correctly your recipes will now show in my menus.
6. (optional) if you want to use my "any ingredient tags" in your recipe, you will need my mod SCCO or SCCOR (not both), same for anyone using your mod. As the script in either of those mods is required for ingredients to accept custom enum tags. You can find a list of all my available "any ingredient tags" HERE. There is also a tutorial on how to add the snippet for your recipes and my "Ingredient Tag Enabler" script on Discord. Otherwise you will not be able to use custom enum tags for ingredients in your recipe.
-Removed Script, now requires LOT51 CORE LIBRARY
-Added "test file" for you to be able to check if the menus are working without any recipes installed. Read "important note section" above for more info.
