You open the packages and cook as normal. The ingredients for the recipes will be taken from the recipes. Each recipe in the menu tells you the ingredients needed to make that dish, just be sure the opened ingredients are in your Sim's inventory that's cooking or in the fridge inventory.

Hi! I just downloaded the new version 2.5.3 to replace 2.5.2 but it's very buggy in game. Every time I open the make custom menu on the fridge and select home style cooking the game freezes (but I can still hear them in the background but they're not moving). When I remove the folder from my mods the game works fine. Do you know what could be causing this? Thanks

Then you installed it incorrectly. Make sure script mods are no more than 1 folder deep inside your mods folder. See the install guide on the main mod page on srslysims.net or come to discord for help.

I downloaded the updated version and I can't buy groceries. Not sure what I need to do.

It is no longer compatible with kids can cook. You'd have to ask that mod author to make a version of the mod that is compatible.

Clear your game cache and make sure you have the most recent version.

If you don't have eco lifestyle you can continue to use the one from the previous release. But I cannot confirm if it will cause any issues. But it should not. As the issue is just with vertical planters and the juice machine.

is there any way you can include the harvestable price adjustments file for people without Eco Lifestyle? Or does it cause issues even if you don't have the pack?

Cool, I wonder about cookbooks, do you read them once and learn all recipes, or multiple times and learn one recipe at a time? If it is first of these alternatives, do you believe it's possible (and would like to do) a version with recipes to learn one at a time from same book (like Iceland recipes in one book as they are now I mean, not one single book for all)? Could be fun to have a learn random recipe, but also to decide what one you like to learn. If you think this is possible but don't want to add this option yourself, do you think one can do this one self if one is a modder wannabe but kind of newbie or very much newbie (I have done some of Zero tutorial and experiments with Zerbu mod constructor last year, and one own custom mod that adds some more questions to the CAS story mode to work with some custom traits and careers I use) and one that adds more names for Sims in my language? I am so interested in trying out this mod next time I play. :-)

They already are! Just download the recipes and plop them in your mods folder. My overhaul is compatible with just about all custom food creators recipes!

Thank you so much for updating. . . . im having an issue with key limes. I purchased flower starter seeds and they are all key limes every time. I have all the latest mod updates of yours and that's the only weird thing I have going on.

Thanks so much for the update, like everyone else, I really missed your mod! I have one small issue, I see Icemunmun’s pineapple fried rice as the only option available when I try to cook a grand meal? Is it an SCCO glitch or a glitch with the recipe itself?

Hi! Reporting that even after the last hot fix i still had to take out the price adjustment add-on to use the vertical garden. ( cache was cleared and tested in a fresh folder)

Yes, none of that works with scco because it overrides some of the same files.

Regarding LMS Incompatibility, I removed LittleMissSamMore Servings Options & Better MealTime Menus package from her More Servings folder. Do I need to remove the entire folder?

Yes I have stopped updating it and am contemplating on removing it as well as dessert as baking. Both of which need updates. I am waiting for sims4studio to be updated before I choose to abandon or update them. Because i am unsure of what the ids are for the new items.

I have Better Exceptions installed and it says that there are invalid tuning files every time I start my game. Specifically the EA Recipe files that are related to coffee and tea (plus apple cider). I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the game or the cooking overhaul itself. Just wanted to let you know incase it’s an issue.

Same for me. Once I took out SCCO, the fizzer worked just fine.

You are in luck, there was no patch today! it has been delayed until tomorrow. I recommend TURNING OFF AUTOMATIC UPDATES unless you plan on playing the game Vanilla. As always, we dont know what will break BUT YES SCCO WILL NEED AN UPDATE. As there is new foods, new hervestables, and major additions to the game.

Srsly is this latest update going to work with the new patch? I'm just wondering as i forgot to turn off my origin last night and it updated automatically and i don't want to mess my save file up, which I do often all by myself without a patch lol!!!

Yes, they do the exact same thing. SCCO also has additional cookbooks, that unlock other items to cook at home. Like Discover University, and Island Living recipes.
