Custom Recipe Poll
Added 2021-06-08 02:14:15 +0000 UTCSo I have been asked for a while now if I would make SCCO's "Custom Recipes" standalone. That way those that do not use SCCO can still use my custom recipes.
I like the thought of it, but I am unsure how you all would want me to do that.
Logically, I have come up with a few options that could work and I wanted to take a poll to see what everyone else thought.
- Leave custom recipes with SCCO - They would remain SCCO required and how it is now.
- Standalone, 1 version - Would be the recipes how they are now. Using both EA/Custom ingredients. If you have SCCO they would show as they do now. If you didn't you would only see EA ingredients as required. The prices would be the current SCCO prices for dishes.
- Standalone, 2 versions (pick and choose) - There would be 2 versions of custom recipes to choose from. 1 for those that use SCCO, would use SCCO ingredients/prices. Then version 2 with different EA ingredient requirements from the SCCO version. Priced based on EA's pricing method.
If I removed customs from SCCO, customs would be released scheduled (or randomly idk yet) throughout the month. The "Customs Main Mod" would be updated around the first of each month for the custom recipes that would be released that month.
SCCO would receive updates at the end of the month as per usual.

I would too. Other options would d like more work for author, plus there’s lots of other custom recipe mods for ppl to use.

Otherwise, I think the third option would be the best one for those who use SCCO exclusively and for those who sometimes prefer to add only the recipes to a particular game. Either way, thanks for asking us for our feedback. Keep up the good work!
