Go Shopping - 2.0.1

Sometimes I just want to go buy things in the game and it feels a little immersive. This mod adds "stores" your sim can visit to purchase various items.

Ways to Shop

• Tablet/Computer - You can order items any time and they will be delivered to your mailbox the next time the mailman makes a delivery.

• Phone - Under the shopping phone menu, you will now find "go shopping" select this to have your sim "call a ride" to go travel (rabbit hole) to the store of your choosing. All items purchased will be found in your sims personal inventory once they return home.

• Cash Register - You will find the "go shopping" menu on all cash registers, all items purchased will be directly delivered to your sims inventory.

You will find the following stores available when you "Go Shopping".

All stores have their own store hours and days. Be sure to look at the store hours to be sure the shop is open.

Compatibility

This is a standalone mod, it has no known incompatibilities.
This mod is compatible with other shopping mods.

If you use Srsly's Complete Cooking Overhaul this mod IS INCLUDED.

You do not need to download "Go Shopping" if you are using SCCO. This mod is included there.

How to Install

• Download the file + Lot51 Core Library

• Download SCCOR (Srsly's Modding Resource) if you use SCCO (Srsly's Complete Cooking Overhaul) you do not need to download anything. Go shopping and SCCOR are included in SCCO.

• Place inside your "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods" folder

• Delete any stores you do not wish to use.

• Enjoy!

• Added new items for upcoming pottery overhaul to hobby store purchase menus.

Update 1.0.1 to 2.0.0

+ Now requires SCCO or SCCOR to use. New tags have been added to better sort items than what EA has provided. This allows less items to clutter category menus so you can quickly find what you are looking for.

+ Now requires Lot51 Core Library. This mod now uses core library instead of XML Injector.

/ Remade phone menus, now shows open hours and days open on menu UI. You will now no longer be able to click on a phone shopping option if the store is closed.

/ Changed purchase menus to call for items available to purchase via tags instead of IDs. This allows items tagged appropriately by any creators to show in the purchase menus.

/ Added categories when shopping (dropdown menu) and more items available to buy in some menus. You can now sort for things via the categories instead of browsing an "All" category.

- Removed Sim Self Interaction (RabbitHole), you will no longer see the "go shopping" menu on your sim. If you want to use the rabbitholes, use the phone option.

+ Added "Go Shopping" menus to Tablet and Computer, both methods will deliver groceries to your mailbox, the mailman will deliver your good the next day they go out. If you make your order early enough on a monday (before 6 am) your order will be delivered on monday afternoon. If after mail delivery, you will get it the following day.

+ Added "Go Shipping" menu to Register (Sim Inventory Direct Delivery), if using the go shopping menus on the cash registers all items will be delivered directly to your sims personal inventory immediately. This is for those that want to use the register to function like a store, OR those that dont want to wait for items to be delivered or use the rabbithole.

+ Added new store "Idle Hands Hobby Shop" you will now be able to buy craft type ingredient items. Including supplies for my woodworking overhaul.

+ Added new store "Magic-R-Us Occult Shoppe" you will now be able to buy occult items from each occult: spellcasters, vampires, werewolves, plantsims, ghosts, mermaids.

+ Added injection via Lot51 Core Library to allow fish to use the mailbox inventory type, fish can now be delivered via the mail.
