SR Mod Alert: Private Practice 2.2.0

This is a mod alert to notify everyone of the following items we will resolve this month on Private Practice, based on previous reports.
- Children are missing the interaction to use the X-Ray machine (they do not currently use Treadmills since that is not a thing in the game yet).
- If the Caregiver of a child hasn't had at least a checkup recently, they cannot purchase the medication needed for the child.
- Remove the likelihood of ghosts coming to the hospital as Visitor NPCs.
- Sick Diagnosis resetting after the medication has been taken or no symptom buffs are present.
We receive a request to also put the Pee in a Cup and Wellness Kiosk tasks all in one. That will involve editing our scripts and more than usual code updates to accommodate this request. Nevertheless, I will keep it on the list in case we have time. We do have some interesting things coming this month and I don't want to pause that any further.

Hi, just a comment about mod changes. Per the comment about consolidating actions, ie peeing in the cup, I would like to say that I am a fan of multiple interactions and activities as long as the waiting time between isn't too long. Being t the clinic all day would be a bit much. I really appreciate that the patient moves from realistic tasks to waiting appropriately in the exam room for the assistant or doctor. I love that more diagnoses are added such as allergies! I'm hoping for pregnancy diagnosis and delivery in the future. :)

2021-05-02 14:12:09 +0000 UTCYes, that's simulation lag. If you don't see the task being filled by the Sim anymore, then just click for them to go somewhere. That will get them out. Or you can reset the machine to kick them out.

2021-05-02 12:01:35 +0000 UTCI suggest you look at your NPs; one of them needs to be available. It can take some time for them to be pushed to go to your Sim. But like real life, medical staff don't immediately come to you when at an appointment since they are usually doing a lot of other stuff at that time. If it is taking longer than 30 Sim minutes, then most definitely check your NPCs and reset the object they are using to give them the push to assist. Too many objects that influence them to do stuff will make them slower to respond.

2021-05-02 06:49:24 +0000 UTCI canโt seem to get discord working. But sent my sim to the dr. Made to exam. Dr came in and chatted with her. Than she waited and waited and waited but nothing told her her test results. Sim was stuck on waiting for test results. After a few sim hours I exited out. Which let me. Iโll try it again tmrw. Maybe it was just that moment or something ? I tried signing to discord but says my email is used. Try and says Iโm not registered. Tried my number. Lol. Maybe one of those technology hates me days/weeks.
