CODE UPDATE: Private Practice 2.2.0 (PRE-RELEASE)

Hello Everyone!

We finally have a Private Practice update to fix all the ails you! 😂 Please see below for the changelog. Illnesses should be much more manageable now, and you have the option of sending your Sim kid to school or not, thanks to Nathan and Zafireria!

We also updated the Newcrest, Family Health Clinic (S) & Center (L), where you can complete all Checkup and Sick Visit interactions on one floor. This should make the appointments a little smoother. I was able to time Checkups to be about an hour while Sick Visits are longer since "health data" should be logging into the "health system" for each interaction. Then you have to wait for the appropriate NPC to get that "data. This is why the Centers have cafes in case your Sim gets hungry. 😉 Maybe we should add in the interaction to Request a Meal and Sleep on Exam Bed too? 😂😅🤔

SIDE NOTE: X-Rays and Treadmills - once you request an exam, give the mod some time to find the next available NPC to assist with these tests. As soon as one is assigned, you'll see them in your Sim's task list and everyone should be making their way to that machine. If you don't see this occur in about 30 Sim minutes, then request it once more.

We separated the Mod Files and the Tray Files to see if that helps everyone. That way, if you rather get these updates in the Gallery by searching for account SimRealist with your "Include Custom Content" allowed, you don't have to worry about putting the mod files too deep.

Overhauled Stay Home From School to allow more player choice in a child Sim's absence from school;
Reduced GTW Illness occurrences;
Immunity for viral illness has been extended to roughly around 3 weeks in sim time;
Fixed the missing sim data for the norovirus immunity period;
Fixed the Disable Allergens System interaction, not removing Evergreen Harbor Pine.

How to Install

VISUAL GUIDE: Private Practice - How to Install (this is for the Public version but still applies to Patreon versions)

TEXT GUIDE:

New User

In-game, go to 'GAME OPTIONS' and then 'OTHER.'
Make sure the "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed" boxes are checked.
Exit game (or make sure to Save and Exit if in the middle of a game)
Extract mod
Place the .ts4scrpt, .package, Careers.pack & Data.package files found in the downloaded folder called SimRealist_-_PrivatePractice (Mod Files) into your Mods folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods)
Remove the pre-built venues files that you would like to have into your Sims 4 Tray folder. You must remove them from your folders and enable Include Custom Content in your Gallery's filter in order to see the pre-builts you loaded in.
If you would like to keep it in a folder, only place it one subfolder deep!
Restart Game
Done!

Existing User

Exit game (or make sure to Save and Exit if in the middle of a game)
Remove any SimRealist Private Practice files
Extract mod
Place the .ts4scrpt, .package, Careers.pack & Data.package files into your Mods folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods)
If you would like to keep it in a folder, only place it one subfolder deep!
Restart Game
Done!
