SNB - Bills 0.4.0 (Teen & Wel-Fund Updates)

Hello!

This is an alert to those using the Patreon version of Bills. We've updated the 0.4.0.0-4.0 version to 0.4.0.0-6.0. We've had a few Patrons that were a little confused about how Wel-Fund worked. Previously it would not appear unless the household has a high chance of being approved. Now it will show like Child Support and Alimony, greyed out until the Household has a high chance of being approved. We also added the ability for Teens living alone, or Teens who are Head of Household to their siblings and don't have any living parents living outside of the Household, to receive this benefit.

I will check in on the stop feature for child support, however. I can't make any significant changes that affect the current strings at this point since this is in the translation period.

SimRealist

It will be since it calculates for each Child rather than the sum and then dividing it amongst the child with the intention that the non-custodial will eventually get more career pay to pay the bill. You could always just do 0 simoleons and 0% so that your Sim is only charged 5% of their wealth at time of billing.

I actually meant the percentage of family account/SNB account. I have the base amount at 1 simoleon, and the percentage of income at 1% yet it's still coming to amounts greater than the household funds.

Right now, you can pay each child separately or all at one time. It isn't realistic to support one and not the other. If the non-custodial qualifies they can request a stop in the Government Portal. And yes the percentages are customizable in the Settings menu of Bills under Cost Settings.

Is there any chance that you can add a feature where a sim can choose which children they pay child support to? Also is it possible to make the child support percentage adjustable? For families that have a lot of kids off the lot it's pretty much making it unplayable, since the amount the child support comes to is more than the household account.
