Annual Thank You to Long-Term Patrons
Added 2020-12-13 01:36:59 +0000 UTCLast year, we added in a small update to all our mods as thanks for our patrons that had been with us from the beginning or at least a year. We liked doing this so much that we decided to do so again this year! I had planned to announce this during the month of Thanksgiving, but a lot of personal things were happening with my family that had me pushing the initial proposal for this project back. This week, I got approval from Development on what we plan to give to all patrons as a thank you and a special feature for our more long-term patrons.
Our small gift will be a plaque that you can add to both the Health Clinic (Center) or Financial Center (non-residential lots only!) that allows you to see the Thank You message found in our mod's welcome notification as well as two new feature options. Those feature options will be the ability to buy (invest) or sell a share in that particular Center. Once your Sim has bought a "share" of the Center, they will be a "shareholder." This isn't going to be an intense stock exchange system, but a simple way for your Sims to "invest" into these venues and receive a set income from it.
If you are a patron of active status as of October 1st for more than a year, I will be reaching out to you individually (by your patron email) to see which Plaque you would like your name on. If I don't hear back from you by January 8, 2021, I will randomly choose one for you.
Other than the release of Private Practice 2.1.0, the next bit of news will be the Annual QA Surveys. Yes, that is back as well. Please check back for it if you want your opinion on how we do things noted anonymously.
