Update, Plans Going Forward, + Special Promotion

So to say an update has been long overdue is probably understatement of the month. ^^;

Where to begin? Bullet points as usual so you can skip to the parts you care about. 

PEST CONTROL 

So the pest control prep...turned into a shitshow. And that was before the bug guy even came. 

16 hours. 16 hour sessions I spent on multiple days getting my work space ready for when the bug man arrived. Even as the day before came, I offered to help out with other family members to help them get ready even though I was already shattered and wanted to get this over with. 

So the day of bug man came and well, same family members have a look at what I did to prepare and...I get told it was not enough. Hours and hours of prep just to be told to do more like take the whole desk out (Which even the bug man said it wasnt necessary), take more boxes out the room (Again was not necessary) and all the time being taunted and criticized for being lazy, having too much stuff (Which while true, they do it much worse than me) and the usual jumping to wrong conclusions. 

I pretty much snap and start yelling some home truths at the top of my lungs. 

I'm normally a positive minded person who does not really get angry that often, but christ I was pushed and pushed and ended up shouting in the face of a family member I have never dared yelled at before. I felt so terrible after I had to just sit downstairs on my own for a bit. I was shattered, tired, felt like I was close to a panic attack. Just that utter feeling no matter how much you do and what you say, it all means nothing to the people you love. I'm used to it, but it hit hard home more than usual on that day. Even while my bratty nephew sat around contributing below the bare minimum. 

Then the bug man came.....2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time. 

Just the topping on the cake right? Actually no. Not only as mentioned there were things we did not need to do, but he confirmed to everyone what I already knew but no one else listened....zero bed bugs in my room. Plenty in the other 2 rooms. Pretty much a slap in the face to those family members, they had not done enough to stop this problem from happening, I meanwhile did. Never the less, the room had to be sprayed anyway so the bugs would not migrate to my room. As he was spraying the rooms, the family apologized and agreed they have to clean their act up as did I need to a little. They won't stick by it, I know, but for the day at least it made me feel better. 

So after spending 2 hours out the house after the bug man left, it was then a task of getting things back in my room. After that, pretty much an early night. Too tired and shattered to even attend an appointment the day after so rebooked that. In-fact, took me nearly a week to get back to a somewhat normal state. Boxes still need to be re-organized but slowly getting there. 

Which brings me to.....

THE BUG MAN COMEITH PART 2

God damn it. 

Well, he wants to come over in the middle of next month for a 2nd spraying, to pretty much ensure the end of the little critters. My goal is to re-organize my stuff well enough that this disaster of a prep does not happen again as I have a few ideas. I will keep you posted when we get a exact date on the 2nd spraying but I am hopeful it won't be as bad. 

OTHER LIFE STUFF

Thanks to the bug man, my sleep schedule went outta whack but its recovering. There was another another private matter that threw me through a loop lately. Still, I suppose thats enough about real life stuff, its time to sort out the art related stuff. 

ART UPDATES GOING FORWARD

I'm going to be focusing on the Jessie's Daughter comic for a fair bit, namely because on top of the RL stuff happening, the commissioners is getting impatient which while understandable, has been down to matters out of my control. My aim to to get all the pages inked then that will cover the bulk of the commission at least and colour should be a breeze after that. Not to mention, I really want the commission out of my life but without cancelling it. It would free up a day of the week to get other things done and not be stuck in the same project for longer than need be. 

Some other updates like the Premium Content, Classic Uploads, and New Character Sunday will continue as usual but others I will try and get to as soon as I can. Getting the comic commission done will be for the greater good. 

SPECIAL PROMOTION

But we're gonna need something to make up for August's slump in updates right? ;)

Remember a few months ago I was toying with the idea of a promotion where every $5 or above donator gets a Sex Doll base pic request? Well, I reckon I'm going to go with it. 

It will be called “Sex Doll-tember”, anyone that donates $5 or above during the month of September, new and existing” will get a free Sex Doll base pic request. Then throughout September I will aim for daily double updates of both the Jessie Comic till its done and a Sex Doll base pic till the pile is done. Depending on how well it goes, I might do other promotions like this in the future. 

If you're interested and are currently donating under $5, I would suggest waiting till the 1st September before upgrading your pledge to $5, just so you're not paying $5 twice. ;)

Might sound like a stretch given my track record on update delays but I feel I need to challenge myself to get this done. 

THIS WEEK

Thats about it. As for this week, I want to get a start on the Jessie comic rush along but also get New Character Sunday back on track with a sweet idea I had that bends the rules a bit but with how things have been of late, I really need it as does a dear friend of mine.
