In-case you missed it, there's a new Hypno-ber post before this one.

So remember my New Year's News Update when I talked about the year and how I was getting back to work and all that?

24 hours later.

There I was, sat down ready to draw some art and get some requests long overdue and out the way, it was going to be quite the productive day!

I hear something in the ceiling. Movement if you will like something was up there. Maybe it was a bird on the roof or such?

10 mins later, scratching wood sounds, getting louder. I look upwards towards a corner of the room...

Out of this tiny hole that formed out of the ceiling, a rat's head popped out to say hi. 0___0

Not being fond of creepy crawlies and not domesticated rats, as soon as it withdrew back into the hole, I left the room with my nerves all shot. I know rats can't really harm you per say, but with my anxiousness a lot of what ifs filled my head. Where the hell did it come from? How the heck did it get up there? How long had it been up there? And you can imagine the rest.

Took a good while for me to calm down. Once I did, I took action by using cotton wire and ceiling plaster to fill and block up the hole so it shouldn't find its way into the room where I do my art and writings. Since then, I've not heard a sound going on in the ceiling but you can imagine I'm looking up often just in-case, further delaying content creating, but given I just made an Ashley, I should be alright drawing again as originally intended....

....that said, we will have to get an exterminator round at some point and that will take up some time no doubt, so please keep this in mind if there's another quiet spell.

Not exactly how I envisioned the year to start huh.....
