No problem. The police will check him for gunshot residue and blood splatter. Finding none, they have no probable cause to hold him. Find the gun, find DNA on it, then they'll have something to compare against everyone in the household, including the women. But then again, this is some backwater country where due process doesn't necessarily exist.
