I know that for the moment it is only a project, but I want to tell you about it.
I started working with Unity, and I must admit that I'm tempted to make a 3D game.
I would like to have your opinion about a possible PLUMP CITY 3 like GTA ;)
The only thing that bothers me is that the quality of the textures will not be as good as with a Visual Novel.
On the other hand, the animations and the gameplay could be better.
Your comments are welcome !

2021-08-28 18:21:30 +0000 UTC... :-) ...want to quickly contribute, in here - the positive things: If this gives us "an almost free" control of the camera - that's A PLUS; if this gives us the choice of the "type of encounter" (what "kind of sex", and position, etc.,), and (maybe) even "some customization in appearance", for some of the models - that could be A PLUS, too; any kind of "just make your own scene", with way-way more control of "what and how" happens (within some parameters) - that's definitely A PLUS; but - with all of those - situations when you try to have some ANAL, but the character proceeds to CLEARLY bang the model's spine, with his dick clearly out of place (so - it could be "buggy and clipping", etc., ) - such situations should be absolutely avoided, if they might occur (don't have enough of detailed information, within Unity's engine, on that). Also - believe that - it is imperative that the "Main Visual Novels" do, still, continue (with this, potentially, being a "new side project", then), as - they do offer a definitive product that you know - how it looks and what it does - looks "correct and complete", because you check it... ...on a side note - it could be awesome, if we could choose "what kind of sex", on EVERY encounter (so people could decide to be just the "BUTT-GUY", or be just the "ORAL-GUY", etc., ), but - DO realize that it would require separately-rendered images of all of them, so - this isn't possible with "Ren'Py" (and, maybe - that's something to look at, with Unity, then)... ...and, also - "gameplay" feels like the "lowest priority ever" - believe, that we all come here to "incessantly masturbate to PLUMP CHICKS" - nobody, in here, "should be interested" in driving cars and all else, etc., ... ...and, very lastly - how about "Make Your Own Plump Chick", where you choose how exactly to make her look (which parts of her make bigger, which parts make smaller, how tall, etc.,) - where you get to choose - how exactly to bang her (where and with what, with what camera angles, etc.)...(?)...can "Unity" do that...(?)...don't think that there are ANY of "XXXL PLUMP CHICKS Bang-able Simulators" in the existence, right now, so - that might "be a market" to corner, then...only sharing my thoughts, on all this, of course... :-)...

Another Dev I support did his game in Unity, and I must say there is a lot of flexibility he's been able to offer in the game. He added panning where you can move and zoom in and out around characters. Let me tell you the animated scenes look very hot with this option! Also, in Unity he added a toggle to go into first person perspective during an animated scene! You should go ahead and do it. It's good that you are considering changing the platform for the better.

When it comes to the size, I would recommend the first part of the game to play in just a City section/Neighborhood and build on it just like in your previous games. Of course take your time with this! We all know what happens with open world games these days ;D
