If you're going to do fusions, try something crazy with things that probably would not consider mixing in the first place. Among Nintendo series, try different characters from Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon. There's lots of material to put together. Well Smash Bros does make it easier to search for Nintendo characters. Other series have odd things to mix together using lots of characters, like Final Fantasy, Steven Universe, Sailor Moon, Yu-gi-oh! (I recommend the various spin-offs series than the original series). Megaman also has some great material for fusion, whether it be fusing with a robot, reploid, or netnavi. Well let me suggest some unusual combinations which I think are overkill. The oracles Din and Nayru from LoZ Oracle of Seasons/Ages games. Princess Ruto + Juvia Lockser (Fairy Tail). Maybe add Lapis Lazuli (SU) to the mix and make it something of a triple fusion. Cordelia (FE: awakening) + Gym leader Flannery (Pokemon RSE/ORAS). Princess Daisy + Iris (Megaman X4) Sailor Venus (or maybe Sailor Moon is better) + Ring.EXE (Megaman Battle Chip Challenge)
