NEW DIRECT SALE SYSTEM: Evaluation

TL:DR: Direct YCH sales will be held at 00:00 UTC and 12:00 UTC, in rotation, to help people who have trouble buying because of their timezone! I can't pinpoint the exact days, but I will announce them beforehand.

I came to the realization that it's not possible to have Direct YCH Sales be perfect for everyone. 

The latest system (small group sales) worked kinda OK, but it slowed down everything beyond what I expected!
In the end, things would get reduced to offering a lot of poses, one or 2 persons at a time, and waiting 24 hours to see if they like any of them. If not, back to wait 24 hours again for the next batch, to make it fair for people who can't answer email right away. That is absolutely understandable, but unfortunately, I can't manage all timezones to make sure everyone get the sales in the time they're able to email.

I also understand this method could be convenient on the long run, as everyone would, theoretically, get a pose over time; but it could take months to clear all the people in queue. I also can't go from selling 5+ drawings a week, to just 1 or 2.
It also slows down Auctions, as I prefer to wait until a direct sale is over before doing an Auction, to have balance between them.

And that's only considering the Time issue.  If someone would get the chance on the current small group sale, there's no guarantee that you would like any of the poses either, which further complicates things as those missed chances can mean waiting another day for new answers, and so things get even muddier and slower. Also, I don't think I should prioritize certain pose preferences from some customers over others, as it's unfair to the rest of the people. I prefer to stick to my own tastes in that regard.

Even more, having these selected group sales, is very obscure for the rest of the supporters, as they are basically told "just wait and you'll get a pose... eventually". I can see that being stressful for people who want a pose and just get left in the dark to wait. I'd rather have them public and more transparent to everyone. 

On top of all that, it also means I have to do quite some more management to get everything in place for this method to work. A spreadsheet with all names and emails, queue numbers, "pass" and "completed" status... It might not be that much, but it's still more than just uploading the poses.

So, to summarize: After testing out the new method for YCH direct sales during little more than a week, I'm returning to straight-forward direct sales. Even if the new system might have been convenient for some, it would have been too slow for the rest of the people waiting in line, and it was incredibly inconvenient for me. I'm sorry about that.
To improve the timezone issue, which seems to be the most troubling, I'll schedule future sales at 00:00 UTC and 12:00 UTC, in rotation. I'll announce the sale beforehand too. Hopefully, that should be at least a little better.
