January Requests open + help!
Added 2018-01-05 08:05:34 +0000 UTCI want to improve and grow during this new year, and for that I'll be asking for your help! ( tl;dr at the bottom ).
I'm very bad at social networking and I talk ( write ) very little outside of work-related stuff, and I think that can make it hard for other people to find my drawings over the internet. I also overthink things too much, making it hard for me to do quick content ( the time it took me to phrase this post is just ridiculous ).
For those reasons, I wanted to propose this month's request theme to be "Popular Girls", so I can get more in touch with current trends and characters ( or all-time classics as well ), and hopefully get more people to see the results. I know some of you prefer the possibility of getting more niche characters, but don't worry! The next request batch will have a less restricted theme, as usual.
On that same note, sharing my drawings really is really helpful! There's always new possible viewers that might like the stuff I draw, and having my images out there makes it easier for me to get to them. So please, feel free to share everything I draw however and wherever you want!

Otherwise Doki Doki Literature Club is STILL pretty much the main internet fad atm, so while I don't much want to request it I thought I'd mention it's still your best bet for it spreading by itself.

Don't take it negatively! It's just that a slim torso is definitely one of my favourite parts to draw in a girl :P

That poll for example, is way too western-oriented! after all, I draw anime style things ;) A personal guideline I sometimes check is "thefandometrics.tumblr.com", very well presented and up-to-date. As for spreading the work, yes please! I even include a folder with medium resolution versions for easier sharing on all my rewards ! :D

I'm on several discord servers and I have some friends there, but I never use it really. I feel like I don't have the time to pay attention or something.

Also a new Soul Calibur was recently announced so Ivy, Taki, or Sophitia might be a good bet. It might be a little late but Pauline from Super Mario Odyssey might still be good. Zelda girls, can't go wrong with Midna, Malon, or Urbosa. I might come back with more.

You could pick between the two - or do both; depending n how you find the suggestions.~ #1 Makoto Niijima - Persona 5. A now recognisable face that garners a lot of attention since Persona left the 'niche JRPG' category with the fifth instalment. I'm not sure what you'd have her do, but you know what I'm personally into - so... I dunno! & #2 Sakura Kasugano - Street Fighter. She's finally coming back into the fight with Season Three of SFV, and she's looking really good! A fan favourite of a major video game series - that'd be sure to get some attention. Also; hey - from what I've noticed, you're alright at socialising and connecting with fans and fellow artists - don't worry all that much! All that stress and overthinking can be bad for you and you know it. I don't know if I've talked about Discord with you, but that may be a good platform to look into to further your networking!
