2021-11-11 23:16:03 +0000 UTCI’m super glad you understood how important the moment was when Katsura said that Gintoki should be suffering the most, but he’s living in this world still. That is super important because up to this point we don’t know much about Gintoki’s past and it really says a lot. Gintoki is simply the best, and I can’t wait until you see more about it! But for now relish these episodes and this anime will only get better and better! P.S. serious arcs (which are 3-4 or longer episode arcs) come around every 30-40 eps, with mini arcs (2 episodes long) comingevery 10-20 eps!

2021-11-11 00:10:53 +0000 UTCA lot of people get confused early on about Gintoki's strength (myself included) or are even disappointed by it during this arc. The blacksmith brother touched on it during the battle, but I just wanted to add a couple details without spoiling: Gin was certainly a monster during the war, but for many years now, he has been living a fairly peaceful life so he's a bit rusty when it comes to fighting (Takasugi touches on this during his interaction with Gin in ep 17). As the blacksmith bro said: in the midst of a life or death battle, Gin was improving faster than even Benizakura. Gintama is super unique, but like any other shounen, the MC will get stronger over time. He may need some sharpening, but the White Demon is still in there!

Sorry to have made you misunderstand, I mean in general, an average of 8 episodes counting in all the arc in the anime but usually are around 5/6 episodes and sometimes are longer. however, even if the leight of the arcs is shorter compared other anime, there will be many of them.
