April print reward & small update ✨

     Hi hi!! Here is a digital rendering of what this month's chocolate purrfait rewards look like - you guys very kindly voted to let me live out my dreams with my idea for the artwork this month by doing two 4x6 prints instead of one 5x7! All patrons under the Chocolate Purrfait tier between April 1 - April 30 will receive these prints in the mail. I got really excited about doing polaroid style prints, and wanted to make a set of two cats going on a lil date! 

     Normally I post a photo of the actual physical print but uh... as of the first of this month, my printer decided to absolutely shit itself 🤪 It ran out of cyan ink mid-print, so I went ahead and swapped the old ink cartridge for the new one, and now my printer just,,, refuses,,, to print cyan ink... I've tried every fix I can find online (running cleaning & deep cleaning cycles on separate days, using a different new cartridge, realigning the print head, and more 🙃) but nothing has worked to fix it. 

     Canon's support is also kind of insanely shitty because you have to make an account and register your product before you're able to contact them for technical support, and when I try to register my printer it says that it either is a printer that wasn't intended for sale in the US, or it is an incorrect serial number so I'm out of luck with that one. The only other thing that I can find online that can be causing the issue is a faulty printhead, but I... can't.... directly contact Canon for a replacement..... and I really don't want to have to order an off-brand one online, and wait for that to deliver, and hope that it'll work.

     Soo after several days of desperately trying to fix my printer and getting absolutely nowhere, I just went ahead and ordered a new printer. I got one of the Epson Ecotank printers since they're a LOT more efficient financially when it comes to ink, so hopefully it'll work well for art prints :') It is set to arrive on Wednesday (please come on time 🤞) so hopefully within the next week I can actually print previews for these prints! 

     March rewards are also going to be delayed because of this - I am unable to print them atm so I'm going to have to wait until the new printer comes in - sorry guys! I will get them shipped out as soon as I can.
