So as to avoid this being overly broad, I’m looking for characters whose primary visual medium is video games. So, Lara Croft, Princess Zelda, Alyx Vance, the girls from Overwatch, etc. Women whose first exposure to the masses was in a video game.
So, not Batgirl, or Ahsoka, or other characters primarily from TV, film, or comics who subsequently appeared in video game adaptations, ok?
