Added 2017-09-15 00:54:12 +0000 UTCSo, I'm getting the hang of this comics thing, and have discovered some things. First, some things are easier than expected-- it's easier to fill panels with partial pics and close-ups, which can speed the process, as can some degree of recycling. Also, it's pretty easy to do basic coloring, not much harder than black&white/ line work.
On the other hand, each page is SEVERAL pics, and shading IS pretty labor-intensive.
So, I'm gonna shoot for 2 pages/month; both will be, at least, colored simply. Higher level patrons will get more complex coloring and shading of pics freed from panel constraints. And if I get more support, I can do more complex coloring all the time.
Thoughts?
