Here is a glimpse at my very first "finished" prints! I have tried out a couple of different papers so far - both the Staples Ultra Premium Photo Paper (8.5"x11", matte, 230gsm) and the Canon Photo Paper Plus (5"x7", semi-gloss, 260gsm) and both are nice papers!

The largest size I intend on making prints of, for the time being, are probably around 6"x9", so the Canon paper is convenient being a 5x7 since I don't have to trim it down. That being said... I 100% prefer the Staples paper solely for being matte! I recently learned it's a lot harder to find any kind of smaller size (4x6 - 5x7) paper with a matte finish versus gloss or semi-gloss. I personally much prefer the look of matte prints over glossy, so trimming down paper it is!
From the feedback I received on Instagram, stickers have a much higher demand compared to prints, but I've only recently delved into the world of printing-at-home, and it has been such a fun experience to see my traditional art reprinted!! I'm sure I'll test out a few more kinds of paper in the coming months, and of course I will be trying to add lots of different artwork to my roster of prints as well.
I have, of course, made a lot of misprints in this process (mainly prints that are sized slightly off from the ideal size - I don't have much experience printing anything, so formatting took a second to get used to, haha).
I would love to make updates as I progress in working on items for opening a shop - please let me know if you guys are interested in these kinds of posts at all! I know I need to work more on making stickers, and I was also wanting to try and make some handmade charms, and I'd love to share my experiences on here if there is interest! <3
